actually oppose this. Her constituents elect her. I think it’s best to have all view points on committees to avoid group think.

Oh for fricks sake…. She doesn’t have another “viewpoint”. She is an antisemitic brat who sympathizes with terrorists.

You actually want someone on a committee.. THAT committee… who will not outright say what happened on 9/11??

The people chosen to serve on the sham Jan 6th committee was elected too.. and the Dems rejected them.

So to hell with her and to hell with all of them.

don't like Omar or her politics one bit, but I am just not sure I approve letting the majority party (EITHER majority party) cherry pick which members of the minority party will be allowed to sit on a given committee.

Too late. There are new rules in town as of the last congress. They wanted it then… they can eat it now.

Pick your favorite GOP legislator. I think everyone here likes Rand Paul, so let's use him as an example. Imagine if the Dems exclude him from ANY important Committee.

That would be because of political spite. Omar wasn’t kicked off for political spite.

Also, Paul has actually been physically attacked by leftist extremists. If that happened to one of them.. well you finish the thought.

You would think removing a known Jew hater would win republicans some Jew votes.

Sadly, it won’t.

We should not do this to pick up Jewish votes (as it won't help) but do it because it's the right thing to do.

Yeah, sort of like Jim Jordan and Jim Banks being "disqualified" from the January 6th panel. It's all political. But, if the left is going to frick the right, then the right fricking the left back is fair play. Otherwise, the left just takes, and takes, and takes. And this is completely different because Omar is an obvious anti-semite. Having her on that committee is completely irresponsible.
