I wouldn't be shocked if the defense budget is severely inflated. I know these defense contractors are acting like a monopoly. This deployment bag I got was $500 from my unit and I looked it up from the company that makes it and it's $150. People also mention those Air Force cups and nothing has changed. Office paper, pens, and etc... all of that is severely inflated. Let's say paper is $10 a pack, my unit is spending $100 per pack. All of that adds up across all of the branches.
