Well yeah, but the event that Reagan used to "beat the (nuclear) USSR" was known for 50 years as a cold "WAR" with round after round of accusations, proxy skirmishes, and propagandist protocol.

If intentional attacks took place, sabers rattled, shoes were used as hammers, nuclear threats made, and occasionally the parties found themselves on the brink.

China going a-hole is only illustration of that the USA needs to show strength, and be committed to CONTINUE standing up for the USA.

Just because the Marxist Democrats are in full violent attack, dont forget a very legitimate function of a nation is protection of itself.

After all, what if there are other more effective intentional infectious weapons the CCP is willing - or PLANNING- to use.
