Yes, he has Secret Service protection.

He’s protected by specially trained and designated FBI agents. The Secret Service actually protects a relatively small number of people. Most departments and agencies have their own protective divisions for VIPs.

Did you not see that guy with the ear piece, and super short military haircut behind Barr when he was testifying with eyes constantly scanning the room? That dude is security you don’t want to mess with.
I saw him again when Barr was interviewed by Bill Hemmer walking behind him.
He looks like he could kill you if he trained his eyes on you too long. That’s why he keeps em moving.
