I also find it odd, that a planet that is billions of years old, is using 100 years of chartable history --- to PROVE ANYTHING.
This is not real science. Real science is not based off of UNKNOWN VARIABLES.
Climate change has been invented, simply so rich people can take advantage of the fact that a liberal's emotions, are far more powerful than their brains.

Global warming is false. There was leaked emails stating as such from top scientists. They said the data did not reflect their predetermined outcome so they lied to cover up that information and skewed data to fit thier narrative.
So now we have climate change as it is a general term and it can mean heating or cooling so they are never wrong.
Remember before global warming it was global cooling.

Science isn't about being right forever. It's constantly improving and changing. The best science is the most tested. If "global cooling" was wrong then that's not science failing it's science working. It will forever be trying to improve itself. The latest consensus is that the earth is heating in a shorter amount of time than what we've seen in core samples. The theory is that it's because of the green house effect and has been heating faster in the time humans have been pumping CO2 out. Could that change? Sure, they've been wrong before. But they seem pretty damn confident and each study each year is right in line to support it. 2016 is the hottest year on record. If you want to double down that the science is wrong then that's your choice. There's not much more of a simple explanation than that. Believing something because it's what your political side is supposed to believe isn't too smart though. Look at the evidence yourself, ask some professionals your concerns, if it gets answered great, if not then there ya go.

That seems to negate any measurement including a possible margin of error, .8 in 100 is bad enough. The odd thing is that, if you ask these "brainaics" the rate of warming in the past 100 years..or 500 years, they will look at you blankly. Yet, in their mind, they are the "informed ones".

Why don't you do what I did? Get off TD poliboard for 5 seconds to your nearest science center or natural history museum and ask someone who studies this and knows how to answer your little gotcha questions. You know damn well no one is going to be able to answer that first one and the only people it sounds good to are on this board. Climate isn't temperature. It's not "temperature change" there's no standard there. Stop being angry.

I don't think the science is ever settled. I agree. But if you want to just look at the latest and most accurate view of the changing climate, this theory is holding true right now. I think it's silly it's political in the first place.
