My 2 cents after trudging through several states chasing whitetails on public land:
If walking long distances by trail, I use this to pack in climber/pack/gear and pack out DEBONED deer:
Rambo trailer
I very RARELY take the cart into the woods off the trail I came in on(lock it to a tree) as getting it back up hills loaded is self-abuse.
Majority of time (where legal), I totally DEBONE the deer and only quarter if required to show sex, etc. I then pack up to trailer on trail and back to truck.
