When can I start using drones to bag a big buck?

Whenever you are ready..... I am pretty sure that there are no laws on file against using ANY type of device merely to to obtain "pictures/evidence" of wildlife.

Now if you want to mount a 270 to the nose of the drone...that might be a problem..... but I am pretty sure that these drones are not flying around armed with guns and handcuffs....just a camera.

That's all I would need. Just have it fly ahead of me undetected so I could find bedding areas or bucks moving around. I could intercept them once I found their path of travel.

Nonsense. A warden can "check" anyone hunting, fishing, boating, etc. Whether he uses binoculars or a drone...

A few things:

1. This was on a federal reserve. You go on federal property, be prepared to be watched. Different circumstances than if you were on your own property.

B. I also think this falls under the "don't do nothing, won't be nothing" area. Don't break the law and you won't get caught.

III. That being said, it is a very slippery slope.

So, I am ok with them watching people on federal/public lands. I get a little more worried when they start spying on private property.

What is a "y" valve, and how can you see it from so far up?

It's not a search and it's not illegal. I don't mind using them for patrolling marine sanctuaries, but it would be a different issue if they just start spying on people.
