Does anyone have expierience with Tactacam Defend cameras? I have had great luck with game cams, but we need something to watch the house, barn, etc of our place. We had someone there between trips and want to be able to watch realtime from non wifi camera type cams.

I have their game cameras for several years now and I can say that I have personally sat in the stand and watched a deer in front of the camera and not even get 1 picture. Other times, I get pictures all day. I hope a "Defend" camera is more reliable.

I haven't had issues iwth mine, have you adjusted your sensitivity on the cameras?

With any camera it needs to be pointed slightly down to trigger reliably. Like someone else said you can also change the sensitivity, but I haven’t found they need to be cranked up as long as they’re pointed in the right direction. Never known a Tactacam specifically to have an issue with this, if anything they seem to be less picky about it. If you’re running solar panels they may need to be recharged as well. When they get shaded out they can run the cam for a few hours a day, enough to make you think it’s fine, but it’ll be dead when temps drop and early morning.
