FIRING RANGE RULES AND REGULATIONS
All firearms brought into Outdoor World must be unloaded and checked in with Courtesy
Desk. Pistols must have magazine out, slide rearward.
All firearms and ammunition must be checked by range officer and approved before firing.
(also upon leaving)
Only one person may occupy booth at a time.
All handling adjustments and loading of firearms must be done in the range at the shooting
bench.
If malfunction occurs, which you are unable to resolve, bench the firearm and request
assistance from the range officer.
Firearms must be pointed down range at all times.
Shoot only at targets in your lane. NO shooting areas across lane, or at floor, wall or ceiling.
Shooters under 21 years of age must be supervised by a parent or guardian who will be
responsible for their safety and conduct.
Horseplay or improper use of firearms will not be permitted.
Ear protectors and safety glasses must be worn by all in the range area.
Smoking, eating and drinking are not allowed in the range area.
Rapid fire, quick draw firing or firing from a holstered pistol is not allowed.
After shooting, each person is required to pick up all refuse and materials, and leave the area
clean for the next person
Firing line must never be crossed.
No black powder guns or shot shells allowed.
Violations of range rule will cause prompt expulsion
No steel core or armor piercing ammo allowed
Nothing over 44 magnum power level or 2000 fps are allowed
