finally got consistent cell phone service.

I went into the hills of Missouri and had cell phone service that rivals the 1980s

typing up a novel that yall will casty a million times over

her dad's side of the family that is from and or lives in or around Destin is party party time every night.

I go up to meet her mom's side of the family in fricking Missouri, different story.

Friday night, I buy a 18 pack of Miller lite and have enough vodka to get many people to get fricked up. I end up pounding about 10 or so with many shots of vodka. The gf got tipsy on wine and so did her mom. Her uncle, aunt, cousins drank nothing.

Saturday. Her great grandma's 100th BD party at around noon. My gf's mom brought 70 pounds of gulf shrimp from Destin (on her flight). I was in charge of it all and I set up 3 tables to set the shrimp and potatoes and corn out on so everyone can eat around the tables. OH frickING WAIT. NO ALCOHOL IS NOT ALLOWED

I boiled about 30 pounds and laid em out on ONE frickING table and people would get a few shrimp and go inside and eat them.

at this point I was like these people are fricking retarded

They would come up and get 5-6 shrimp and go inside. come outside and say "John, these shrimp are so good."

I boiled about another 10 pounds and left them on the table: 2 hours go by and there is way too many left so I stopped.

Still about 25 pounds left and her mom sold em to the fricking yankees that have no idea what a shrimp boil was.

I cleaned everything up, washed all the pots and pans involved in the boil by myself. Went to her uncles house and pounded another 10 beers and a good bit of vodka. Once again, it was me, my gf and her mom drinking. No one else in her family had a beer.

Sunday: drive back to her uncles house that we started at on friday. We get there at about 7pm. I had a half pint of crown on the ride back and get there and there is 6+ kids under the age of 11 running around. A couple semi hot mom's (of the kids) hanging around. I walk in and pound the millers I left in the fridge from Friday. Guess who is the only one drinking?

Drink about 6 beers (some of the Ultras my gf left) and drinking a good pint of vodka.

Long story short. Missouri people want to sit on the porch and talk about the past and don't drink.

They don't call that state Misery for nothing
