I'm headed out to the public leeville launch Saturday. I've never fished that far up, but I have a couple of young boys going out with me and I want to stay out of the wind if possible. I'm looking at maps, does north or south lake hold trout? Do I need to go all the way to caminada? Not asking for anyone's hot spots, just don't want to bomb out completely. Fwiw, we're in a 17' flats.

People have been catching fish all over that area near the launch last few weeks. Find the best water you can and make those little guys happy. Good luck

not this weekend you aren't.
I've cancelled the Saturday trip I had lined up and the bowfishing trip tonight I had.
