What is the Gibson report looking like? My buddy that fishes there said they shut down a little the last week or two.

I'm planning on heading out there next weekend.

I slammed them last Wednesday in the school board canal off the pipeline, when back sunday and struggled. The water was mirky, only had 11 bass and 34 Google eye and we had to fish most of the day for that. I bet the water is high as shite right now and dirty. I am headed to the deer lease this weekend but will be back during the week and hit that area. I will post a report for you and let you know how I do.

That's it?

I'd consider that a pretty good day, but I have friends like you that fish out there regularly and would consider that an average day.

Been a while since I've been on a on-fire Gibson trip. Those are the absolute best.

We have a camp in Fishermans retreat if i had a kayak i would go pass the marina to the left in the marsh back there or go to the first cut to the right and throw on the otherside of the dam we slammed the redfish there a few times

I consider that an average trip. I fished with a customer who does not fish at all on Wednesday and had over a hundred google eye and sacalait. Sunday, I fished with my dad and he is a damn good fisherman and I threw the whole tackele box for bass, perch anything and it was tough. But I do love when they are on fire and you caught a hundred bass in a day.

Were you catching the goggle eye on bass gear, or with jigs under corks?

On wednesday, everything was on crappie magnets and triple tail jigs about 18 under a cork. On sunday, everything was on watermelon red flukes, brush hogs, and speed craws.
