Which is pretty retarded considering the quality of spinning reels these days. Spoil them with whatever line you want, the drag systems are 1000x better and you can beat the piss out of them and they keep on ticking. A 2500 series eggbeater with the right line and rod can do anything any spincast can plus handle bigger fish way better

What you are looking for is a Daiwa GC120 or the smaller GC100. They have a gold cap. Built like tanks! The body is made from aluminum and the internals are all metal. They oscillate like a spinning reel. This lays the line down evenly so that you don't get binding in the spool. My dad has fished with them for years and doesn't use anything else. They hold up to redfish and everything else. Long lasting reel but a bit heavy due to all metal construction
