I've had mine for like 8 years and zero tears or leaks, but they are a super thick one. They're comfy though, just gotta clean em and hang em up after every hunt.

ETA: I posted too soon. I thought you were talking about their chest waders.

Bought a $24 pair this weekend for one afternoon hunt. Kept me perfectly dry for the mile and a 1/2 four wheeler ride to and from the stand.

I’d imagine the pair I bought would tear easily though.

I bought the hip waders that have no insulation for early teal and for when we get a warm spell for like $70. They’re on season 2. I do avoid going through thick brush with them. On the other hand I’ve had the worst luck with drake waterfowl waders. I’ll never buy another set from them again

I’ve had a pair for 4 years and they work great for what they are designed for. Yes, definitely loud but they are not designed for stealth. Also, they have paper thin ones as well as heavier material ones.

I keep a pair by the door for quick outside use and they have never leaked. I have “better” rain gear for other purposes but it also cost way more than FT.
