want to take grandkids to fishing lake with cabin etc where are best places in South la or Miss ( i have a boat)

Spotted bass lakes are the best for kids.
When we go to Lake Martin here in AL they get tired of reeling them in.
Are there any rocky deep lakes like that in LA?

Lake Verret which opens into Grassy and Lake Poularde. There are several camps that can be rented in the area.
