A couple of our local lakes are being drawn down. Will the bass fishing be any good? What should I look for?

It’ll be great if you can get a boat in the water. I’ve always found the normal patterns still apply, there’s just less water to cover and spread them out. Assuming this is a winter draw down then the shad are going to congregate in the deepest water they can find where temp will be stable. Should find schooling fish there and on steep drops, but there will be plenty of fish still cruising shallows like any other time. It’s a great opportunity to get out and take pics of structure that’s usually submerged too, will learn a lot about the lake.

thats good info DT...
also look for the drains and canals that feed into the larger bodies of water...fish tend to stack up where they empty into the larger deeper bodies following the bait...
