For those of you who have purchased a new double wide in the recent past for primary residence or camp, how durable has it been? Meaning have you started to have issues with roof, plumbing, electrical, etc?

At a minimum, put a metal roof over it.

If you buy a new double-wide, make sure you put it where you want it the 1st time. They are not designed to be moved again without spending $$$.

Biggest problem with any mobile home is the roof leaking due to the low slope.
If just for a camp, just stay with a single wide. Easier to move and therefore easier to sell. Moving a double wide can take a long time and be expensive, because they are not made to be taken apart easily and there are few people who move them.
