If you hunt by a damn paper mill and it blows that shite your way, or woods fire etc, i don’t they they can smell shite. Their nasal cavity is no sensitive I think it overwhelms them.

The ozone systems work. i have had deer literally all over me even in bama. 10-15 feet. I had two fawns sit 15 feet from my stand last year, with deer all around me in every direction. I couldn’t believe they couldn’t smell me or see me.

The deer at our place typically see or smell you coming in. If you can get set up without them knowing you are there u have a chance but i would say that’s 15% of the time max.

I just created a new account because I have zero idea how to login to old one. I guess you never had “2 posts” before huh? And no, I didn’t really post on the old one. Been lurking off and on for a while.

And yes, I’ll take your bet.

I enjoy the one's on La Hunting FB that feel the need to brag they walk for "miles" in the woods in the dark and how they all think they are the only ones who do it. Then they get on the "everyone else is scared of the dark" kick and it's just awkward and cringe to read.

Try walking to your stand in our woods. You won’t see shite. Drive a truck, buggy, golf cart, or wheeler and park under the stand, easily see 15-20 mix of small bucks, almost shooters, does, and yearlings.
