That particular game warden don't speak for all of us hillbillies. Back in the day, I didn't have a bit of trouble identifying any furry object. Nowadays I don't hardly care no more...

We stayed at Fontainbleu St park in Mandeville about 2010 and a ranger said they had a male cat in the area. I didn't see the cat but saw paw prints in the sand and the park collected scat samples.

They also have released and are tracking Florida panthers in the Fla. panhandle and the map shows none there. Definitely not a definitive map.
