Caney lake advice

Headin to caney lake this weekend for the first time and was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on bass fishing there??

I assume you're talking about the one north of Jonesboro. (There's another near Minden) Lake doesn't have much visible structure at all. You need to find underwater ledges and humps to get to the big ones. I usually catch some smaller ones in early morning and late evening around boat houses and docks. Down near the dam and in smith branch there's some deep holes and ledges that most people fish. Should do ok on Carolina rig, or deep cranks. Watermelon Red flukes usually produce good too.

I'd say right now fish at night around lighted boat houses or the middle of the day for schooling bass
