Burns Point or Rockefeller for crabbing?

My youngest is addicted to crabbing. We usually go to Rockefeller but it’s a good 2 hour drive. I’d love some place closer (live in Lafayette). Burns Point is about an hour from me, is the crabbing any good there?

People camp there(Burns point) and fish, but I'm not sure if they crab there. If i had to guess, it would be yes because there is a bank line there to put some drop nets etc. If you have a boat, go to the dams at Marsh Island or the dams out of intracoastal city. You will always catch there. Froend went last weekend and caught 40 crabs in 2 hours.
