I say they are worth it. I also edc the mini griptillian. I have four that I rotate. I send two off to Benchmade's Lifesharp service, carry one and have a spare. I cant be without a pocket knife.
Also, you can custom build mini griptillians on the Benchmade website and have laser engraving done on the ones you already have.

I carry a Kershaw Blur. Lost it about a week ago and got a new one in the mail today. I like liner locks and assisted opens though; and hate the locking mechanism of the griptillian.

Picked up mini griptillian yesterday. You can feel that it is made very well. We will see how it holds up
