Foggy till 9:00. Set up where I saw turkeys a week ago. No gobbling this morning. Time will tell.

I went this morning before work in North MS, only heard 2 in the distance. Gobbling has settled down a lot since the beginning of the season.

Busted one off the roost that was being quiet on my way to another that was talking.

Had him working in then a doe came by, busted me and ran the direction of the turkey blowing

Found another about an hour later. Tried to get too close and think he busted me.

Hens were scattered all over. Had 3 come running in to me at different times

If they are not talking on these warm blue bird late season days don't worry, keep calling. They will show. They tend to hush up in Louisiana when the temp rises quick in the mornings late season and when they have serviced most of the known hens in their immediate area.

Leaving tomorrow am headed to our place in Georgia. I usually go the second weekend of season, but couldn't this year due to work. In the past, this late in the game has not been very productive. Zero gobbling and birds not even hitting strut zones anymore. Only time will tell though. Hopefully I can outwit at least one bird.

Oklahoma Saw 5 toms this morning with 6 hens in a field. Toms didn’t hang around long with the gurls and wouldn’t work. They know what time the the feeders go off on the land next to me .

I went to Oklahoma the 2nd weekend of season and only had one day to hunt. Killed one with the bow and did not get on another bird the rest of the day. They were henned up something serious. Its been kind of a shitty year for me. Only killed 4 so far and don't have anything else planned besides going to Georgia.
