Going to Alaska for two weeks. Flying in to Anchorage with plans to fish the Russian River. Any suggestions for things to do or places to visit?

Spent a few days in anchorage, took flight to king salmon and then puddle jumped to Brooks river falls, expensive day but great bear viewing when salmon are running. Took a day to go to alyeska ski resort about 30 minutes east of anchorage, pretty drive there and the lift up the mountain is cool, there’s a wildlife area close to alyeska which is kinda like an oversized zoo, animals are in fences but have lots of room to roam so more of a natural feel to it, bears, wolves reindeer buffalo among lots of others. Train ride to Seward through the mountains is incredible, waterfalls, wildlife, breathtaking views, our cruise left from Seward so we took the train from anchorage there on our last day

Humpy Creek - like shooting fish in a barrel!

We caught more fish that you can imagine...trying to keep from foul hooking was biggest challenge!

Train ride to Seward, ride in the upper level. In Seward, visit the SeaLife Center, take a boat ride to see the glaciers ,saw whales, sea otters, couple different kinds of seals, porpoises.Eat lunch at Fox Island.
Go to Denali, ride the tour bus through Denali. It’s about 95 miles, get to a lodge for lunch and then turn around and make the same trip back.We saw 14 grizzly bears,a few moose and caribou, bunch of Dall sheep, fox and golden eagles.
We rode the train back to Anchorage, again ride in the top level.
My wife called the Alaska Tourist Commision and they helped her coordinate everything.
That was the two favorite things we did.
