Go to Australia that shows you what happens when you manage wildlife. Farmers shoot elk in NC for harassing their herds or for eating their crops. I won't take the rancher topic the subject is a near tame elk herd being fed and seem to have no fear of a predator.

Are you advocating no management of wildlife? This is an unrealistic utopian dream. Wildlife will not achieve some happy balance as the environmental leftists would have you believe. I have no problem with limited populations of wolves as long as they remain in parks such as Yellowstone. When they leave the confines of the park, the state should control them as they see fit. I do not care if it is controlled hunting (best) or a bounty program. This is not 1700 any longer. Mankind can not be removed from the equation.
