I grew up next to that. Got stories.
This afternoon I was on my place in Webster Parish. Sitting on two pipelines crossing. Saw my pet spike that I've named Lenny and a couple of does and a pair of foxes that I've gotten familiar with.
The deer are nocturnal and the local does are middle of the day. Coming out after about 9AM. I suspect one of them is hot by the way Lenny was chasing a yearling around like a hound dog the other day. Been hunting the last two afternoons to lackluster results.
