WWE Smackdown/AEW Rampage Thread: World Series Edition

There are reports that The Elite was backstage at Dynamite on Wednesday, effectively ending their 'Brawl Out' suspensions. That report, combined with the tease video for them, seems to indicate the investigation into that incident is over & Tony has sided with his VPs over the Second City Saint as there are reports AEW & CM Punk are working on a buy-out of his contract.

So... congrats to CM Punk on winning 2 AEW World Championship reigns and having a grand total of 0 successful title defenses. At least we got the mic battle with MJF out of that run before it all went south.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown... which is on FS1 tonight due to Game 1 of the World Series... comes from the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Mo.
