So their gubmint checks go further. Got to have those rims and tires, gold teeth, sports jerseys. Nike shoes, and smartphones. Rent is cheap, food is free, and low utilities. So what race is really the stupid ones? Blacks or the Whites with huge mortgages, truck notes, and buying everything on credit credit cards?

Why do poor people choose to live in the trashiest places?
I'm 73. I can tell you from experience that most of the places you are talking about were not too bad when poor trashy people moved there. They trashed the places after they moved in.
That's what trashy people do, live trashy lives.
We were not too well off when I was young. We lived in a pretty old house that we rented for over 10 years. It was in better condition when we left than when we moved in. My parents were poor but not trashy. Oil field trash though but not trashy.
