BTW, I was going to college and working as a waiter in a restaurant when Spook met Lynn Anderson. She was there in a private party with Mike Duhon, family and friends, after her last show at the annual Lake Charles Rodeo. Spook came to the restaurant and asked another waiter if he would tell Lynn that he wanted to meet her. When word got to the table everyone was aghast and told Lynn he was far wealthier than any of them by a lot. So, she accepted his request. I was present when he told her that she liked her show and would she go out with him. This was in the manner of some old Hollywood movie gentleman. After she accepted, everyone at the table told her she struck it rich. Next thing you know they were married and Spook was becoming a master of riding cutting horses in competition.

As a waiter, the easiest people in Lake Charles to wait on were the Lawtons and Spook Stream. Nothing at all bothered them. They were always polite and never demanding at all.
