NBC12 out of Richmond, VA
Cell from the remnants of Hurricane Florence spun up this tornado in Midlothian, VA just about 2 hours ago.
In the top video of the link provided, you can see the tornado destroy a building as it comes into town (these dudes videoing are way too close and should be in a place of shelter)
there's unfortunately been at least 1 confirmed death from this tornado... which has been added to the overall death total from Hurricane Florence... which now stands at 21

I've been hearing from one of my brothers and his wife who live in Midlothian. One of the tornados hit about 1/4 of a mile from his office and about 1/2 mile from their home. Unfortunately, a business that one of their friends own was hit and there was a fatality.
Last I heard, all his kids and grandkids are home safe and sound. Word is that the weather is heading north and so I'll hunker down in a bit.
I was in court in D.C. today. It was raining hard and there was a lot of wind. Still, we have nothing compared to the Carolinas.

TWC saying it's been confirmed the person killed in the tornado is in the building you see being destroyed on camera
but it's TWC so you may want a 2nd source on that

Was downtown when the sirens started blaring all over. Crazy.

I do not know whether it's the same building, but my sister-in-law knows the people who run a business that was destroyed by the tornado and one of their employees was killed.

TWC said another person was injured (non-life threatening) at the location
know anything about that?

No, my brother and sister-in-law have been texting the rest of us since around 5:00 this evening. They live near the intersection of Huguenot and Courthouse and my brother's office is near the intersection of Huguenot and Robious.

I'm sorry if anyone was hurt.
But...
Dude yelled, "LIVE ACTION" like Turtle Man.
