High schools are nothing more than "babysitting" jobs. We are forced as teachers, to pass chidren who are reading at a first grade level and are in the 11th grade. Also, we are forced to ignore bullying amongst other things and sweep them under the rug. Its a joke. The primary concern of a school should be safety. Kids are not safe.

It is in 80% of public schools. Even the good ones have bad kids that someone has to teach. Failed more than about 10% no matter what they do and see if you have a job. You won’t.

I've taught in 5 different high schools and never had this problem. Hell, the teacher of the year at our school failed 35% of his class.
