Based on what I've seen and read, everyone that wants a vaccine will likely have it by late April, if not earlier. They are prioritizing the first shipments to nursing home patients, the elderly, and front line workers as they should be. Next step will probably be teachers, day care workers, essential employees in the food service industry and factory workers that have to be in close proximity with others. After that, the rest of us that are working from home and would like to return to normal will start getting it - likely by March.
I'm fine with waiting until later in the spring or summer. I do want my parents vaccinated ASAP and I don't understand why they're not doing this 7 days a week, 16 hours a day, holidays included. It's either a national crisis or it's not. When you urge everybody to get vaccinated, then take the weekend off....well it sends a mixed message is the most charitable way of putting it.

Vaccine Pods here in my county have been open every day from 6am to 5 pm
Our public health department reaching out to nursing homes not covered by the federal Walgreens vaccine effort to send out teams to vaccinate those residents. We are supposed to find out this week when next phase starts. Was told likely very soon and those in that phase (teachers, law enforcement, essential workers, those with medical conditions under 65, those, etc) won’t have to make appointments.
