Got a lab/pit mix 2 1/2 years ago, and as someone said, you may be reading the OT too much.
My boy Dubs is about as sweet as can be, neighbors literally have their babies in a stroller and love him coming by and licking their babies' faces. I wouldn't want a dog I didn't spend every day with doing that, but he has been way better than I thought based on what I had read.
When i adopt a second, it's going to be a female version of Dubs I think

Petey from the Little Rascals was a pit bull. THey dont have a switch that suddenly goes off. Any dog cant bite.
