Sorry about your dad. Time doesn't really ease pain; just gives more time to learn how to deal with it.

Today is the 13th anniversary of my Dad's funeral. He also did the GI bill (WW2) and went to law school. He also had a massive stroke and was bed ridden for 3 years. Not to sound selfish but that was the worst time in my life. Burying my Dad Friday and 3 days later losing everything I owned to Katrina. Mourning my Dad and not knowing where I was going to live.
