OP asked would we have a problem with it? Yes, I would. It is not that I wouldn't accept it and support her. It's that life is less complex and she will have less problems to overcome. Black families want their daughters to date good, honest black guys, preferably from their socio-economic background. Jewish mothers want their daughters to marry nice Jewish boys. If I had a daughter, I'd want her to marry a nice, educated, Roman Catholic boy from the South, preferably LSU fan, who is financially stable and white. That is NOT racist.
