how do you know that was the case here? the parent isn't forced to make his child worship a flag or a god.
The biggest problem with the left and the right is that both sides want to be way more involved with your life than they should.

I don’t
I was responding to the comment that it’s up to the child, rather than the parents, and therein lies the problem with many young adults today, their parents were more friends than parents.
