We lucked out and got ours for 1300 an acre a few years ago. All wooded in hardwood and a creek. Appraised this year for many times more than that.

That 30 acres I looked at. Wha about $3100 an acre that they just clear cutted. And some hills and a creek so not much usable land.

Mines almost all hills which I wanted but built the house and big shop on a big bluff. Like the hills and creek for the hunting.

My 20 is in the middle of a 1000 acre hunting lease. I just wanted that 30 cause they were willing to sell it. But frick $100K for 30 acres of nothing

My sis in laws dad has a camp at happy jack in port sulphur and his neighbor has a huge bow fishing company, 5 airboats, a couple of bay boats and two big arse yellowfins. They put up some fish.
