I’m just seeing where LSU is offering an online cyber security program. Has anyone went went through it or have any opinions on if it will help me get a job in cyber security with no IT background?

It's better than nothing, but super expensive for something that isn't a degree. It's through a third party called Fullstack, so it isn't like it's an LSU professor teaching you. Rather, their teachers are just people in the industry with at least 2 years related experience.
Without a computer science or IT degree, the likely career path would be finishing a bootcamp style certification, then get a job at a help desk for a couple years while you self-teach other certifications. Once you learn enough, start applying for syadmin type jobs. All that, plus some sysadmin experience, you could move into cybersecurity.
Loyola, UCF, UM, and others do a similar bootcamp throuhg HackerU, and I agree 100% with this writeup from reddit:
The LSU computer science curriculum just started a cybersecurity concentration, I'd certainly recommend that route over any 'bootcamp' experience.
Happy to help answer anything else; I'm on the interview board for my company for cybersecurity people.
