I hung out on the beach of the resort where that was filmed when I went to Hawaii. Turtle Bay Resort.
Snorkeled there and didn't see one fricking turtle the whole time. I was very disappointed by this.

That’s pretty darn cool man. The only musician on that level (sort of) that I talk to regularly is Randy Jackson. Me and another audio guru friend have been recording most of his south Louisiana shows for about 6 years now. We record them in hi-res from his board to a Korg DSD, edit and master, and then give to Randy.
This started when I hired him to play a crawfish boil at my house back in 2011 and we recorded all 6 hours of his show, then gave him a copy. He said he never recorded his stuff but wanted to start...so we began to go to all the shows and capture them.

Between going into debt for IVF and then saving up for a house....big trips will be on the back burner for quite a long time sadly for me.
Unless IVF doesn't work...then I might just say "frick everything" and take a trip to Europe with my husband.
