LivePD 2/29/2020 - Leap Day Editon

The family went to Terre Haute today for FIL's retirement celebration at Golden Corral. (Since when did it start costing $105 for 2 old farts, 2 adults, and 2 kids!??) Along the way we got a kick out of seeing the spot where the "Crime Pays" tattoo guy wrecked out. Then we ended up getting followed for about 3 miles by a TH cop. My wife remembered that I still hadn't put the 2020 sticker on our tag so I was bracing for some BS to go down. He passed and we then realized it was one of the cars that took part in the show.

Damn, I used to live in Terre Haute area. Small world, didn’t expect this city to ever come up on TD

We hadn't been there in years. The main drag through town is full of empty buildings/lots north of 70, south is about the same as it was in 2000. The area north of the HWY 46 exit from 70 looks almost completely new. (I used to drive between Bloomington and ISU daily.)

ETA: Really small world. One of my school/confirmation classmates started his masters-doctoral program in Starkville the fall after I finished up. I wouldn't have ever expected that happening. Years later I also found out (after moving) that I had 3 former HS FB teammates of mine who lived within 15 minutes of us in Orlando.

25 years old, lives with his mom, driving on a learner's permit, mom getting her hair done.

This dude looks and sounds like a bootleg Kevin Hart. I kinda wanted him to get slammed on the ground for acting like that at first but now feel bad for him
