No shite. We lived down there for our first 6 years post-graduation and it f’ing sucked dealing with them. Minnesota Nice with a twist of Starkvegas left me with very little patience for the PRs there via NYC. That with the Haitians was unbearable...I can’t even imagine how it is now with the NYC migrants hosting the refugees post-Irma. On second thought I can....it’s damn close to how I envision hell.
Ironically one of the most generous things I’ve experienced was in NYC. We got into an elevator at the Times Square Hilton and heard someone yell to hold it. It turned out to be Teddy Bridgewater (before he tore up his knee) and when they upgraded his room at check-in he asked them to give us his original room. Absolutely epic view and had the mother of all air purifiers. Fan for life since then.
