I'm sorry you just pulled that out of thin air. Geeez. If you are at a restaurant with your family and across from are a gay couple there is no need to stare or whatever, you can but why would you want to. It's a free country as long as you don't go up there spouting your religious views or vice versa they don't come up to you ridiculing your religion or lifestyle.
If they start making out treat them like a same sex couple an be like hey that's inappropriate. If they start fricking then you have my permission to be a homophobic biggot and kick their arse and feel manly.

Because churchgoing people don't want their preacher to get arrested for "hate speech," and for the church to lose its tax exemption that is a natural product of the so-called separation of church and state. Does that seriously not make sense to you?

The traditional nuclear family is the bedrock of our civilization
Just go into the ghetto to see the result of its breakdown
Yes, the left's relentless campaign to destroy traditional marriage does affect my life

All right. So do you favor laws against someone walking up to a table in a restaurant and politely telling someone that they are going home and praying for their soul because of their homosexual behavior?

If you are at church to me that is a private entity you can say whatever you want. Don't act on any hate filled messages.
If the Klan and the Black Panthers ha meetings every Sunday at their complexes talking about killing the other race, I'm fine with it as long as they never act on any of it. Once they act it's fair game for criminal an civil proceedings.

I'm not against gay unions though. If they want a marriage, they can create the sacrament in their own fricking religion.
Yup!! There is a difference. I see no reason why they would ever be allowed to have a religious based "marriage" however a civil ceremony in front of a J.P. or similar government recognized official is something I really can even support ... just a little bit. I see a need for the legal rights of significant others.

I don't really care if someone is against it in their personal views.
I have a problem with discrimination without equal protection written into law.
My being married to another man has ZERO effect on any other marriage other than my own.
I know it's grown cliche, but if people were seriously worried about protecting marriage, they would make getting married and getting divorced more difficult for all people.

My question would be why would you want too. Why are you insulting me with your religion? There was no logical need for it.
I mean there is freedom of speech but in a public setting and an individual walks up to a gay couple and says they are praying for their souls because their homosexuality has to me just insulted and insinuated that the person is committing morally wrong acts and is slandering those individuals and creating perceptions based religion and not legality.
I think at that point you can open to any criminal or civil liabilities that come with slandering.

Yes. As a true conservative, I believe it is the government's duty to regulate who can legally love one another.

Seems you think that religions want to kill homosexuals? I think you have it twisted, they want to save them from what they think will be eternal damnation, and not at their own hand, either.
Then again, I truly can't speak for Muslims, because there are governments who execute homosexuals to this day in the name of religion (The Islamic Republic of Iran).
That can't happen here, unless liberals completely capitulate to radical Muslims.
That's my viewpoint, have a good night.

You may want to check into that as well.

Slander involves making false and damaging statements about (someone).
In that scenario the individual stated they would pray for their souls, insinuating an act that would be damning and morally reprehensible because of their homosexuality.
The government has not assigned any of those ideas to homosexuality so saying that could damage a persons reputation or create emotional or personal distress. From there any criminal or civil liabilities could and should be addressed.
