Working late nights at a bar in Lafayette is probably my creepiest. Being new to the area at the time, I didn’t know much about the history behind some of the buildings. I always felt weird running upstairs and to our storage areas for the bar. Just always had a feeling of being watched. One night I tell a few coworkers and they casually blow it off. They said that’s to be expected because a woman was murdered in the building a LONG time ago apparently. They told me some nights you can hear her scream for help. One night it happened. The staff was playing Golden Tee around 3am and I had to use the bathroom. I hit a little corner private bathroom only the workers used. About 4 seconds into pissing the scream came and it sounded like a chick was in the locked restroom with me. I freaked out. Stopped midstream and hauled arse out of there. They heard it too because when I ran out they were standing still listening and pointing at where they thought it was coming from. We packed up pretty quick and headed out. I finished pissing next to my car. Lol
