I have 17.1k tweets since I joined Twitter in August 2009. I don't think I tweet that much.

I’m pretty sure twitter counts retweets in those tweet counts.

I retweet a bunch of shite so it’s either easy to find or something I think my friends would find funny. I rarely actually tweet something out.

That is a good thing to be. Twitter is a cesspool of people posting their political views, as if anyone else gives a shite, and of people trying to out-edgy everyone. The liberals are particularly bad about it. They sit around all day waiting for Trump to frick up (either in reality or in their mind) and then retweet every story they can find about it.

I follow some sports journalists and a few other random people. It can be a good source of breaking news if you can avoid the bullshite
