Yes, get the good steel steering wheel pullers. Use small keys to help lodge them in so they don’t pop out once you start the pulling. I bought the cheep set from Amazon and they couldn’t take the pressure and bent. You can rent them for $5 at autozone. 
ETA: the puller kits are vehicle specific.
