I'll have my 2 pieces of Cantaloupe later.

Morning LCA.

Happy Sunday.

The rain did wash the pollen off my car. There's a blessing from the storm.

Lots of pine cones in the driveway though.

Good morning nerds, and LCA. I hope your prunes work this morning.

Good luck. We’re all counting on you.

The second you opened your eyes, it decided, just to piss you off.

Crunchy is an odd word choice...Morning Rouge! *said as perkily as possible*

Hello Tidal. Glad all things came through unscathed.

BRgethenet-ish GM to you also. I am not having prunes. I do not really care for prunes and have no real 'need' for prunes. Don't really even like it when my hands and feet get prune-y. What are you having for breakfast? Prunes?

Hello there Rogue.

I like oatmeal. Why is yours the product of tasty wheat from The Matrix?

And for the record, cream of wheat should be illegal. Such a nasty texture.

Just concerned meth may be involved kidding

Oatmeal, cream of wheat & grits are all abominations.

ETA - I am having cabernet for breakfast. It's almost like going to Mass...

Overnight steel cut oats interact with the pH level of our water when I cook them . There's actually a scientific explanation fo it. I had to Google it. It makes them greenish gray.

Yeah. Not the most appetizing looking.

I occasionally pour my coffee into the bowl to change the color.

Now that, sir, sounds like a fine way to break fast.

I need to scrub the bug guts and pollen off my truck but it’s 38 degrees in my burg this AM. I think I’ll live with it the way it sits.

Whole lotta nope there. Think of the bug guts like a vehicle upgrade you didn't have to pay for.

Mid-70's and clear blue skies here.

Hope you have a great Sunday, JP

You should make them with bottled water and see if they are more visually appealing. None of my business though.

Growing up for several years in a row, my Mother made me a prune cake for my birthday...Not sure why it was called that since that name is off-putting. It was basically a spice cake but she added some baby food prunes and covered it with a liquid-y sugar icing....I miss it. It would be very good with coffee.
