I'll see what I can do. At least you didn't ask for wool, I haven't seen that around there.

Good morning, mpmaclc

Good morning, OT'ers
Got home from eight and a half weeks out on the road, a solid 27,000 miles stint. Going to enjoy a few days off before getting to work on the homestead.

it's so weird bc somedays I don't have any issues with it and other days - and often times multiple days in a row- the struggle is awful.

As an addict who needed to get off medication because the Adderall destroys my life, I've learned several things about myself to help focus.

For me this helps:

1. Sleep, good quality sleep
2. Physical activity daily (lift/BJJ/cardio)
3. External stresses staying low. Limiting external issues that might grab your mind for a second and redirect thoughts

If I have those things in line and under control I seem to stay on task.

External stresses staying low
this is the most difficult thing for me

I’m not ‘stressed’ but it’s taken a long time to get my anxiety under control but sometimes I fail. I was doing good except for today - I want to go run around in circles and scream

Gm mfGRT

My biggest external stress rn is my son who has a raging case of senioritis.

I am not the mom who is grieving her baby going off to college. NOT. AT. ALL.

I actually miss changing diapers, not so much the act but the boys being little babies.

They are beginning to get attitudes though which is challenging. But what helps is that im like a super hero to them, they are begining to mimic me, say they are dada by wearing my hats and dada can do anything. Makes me feel so damn good because as suck, but they will soon find that out.
