Thankfully the SmalMart was open and I was able to snag a brick of Velveeta cheese for my shrimp tetrazzini recipe.

I had fish sticks for supper on Friday, with sides of French fries and fried okra.

It was not as good as I remembered from elementary school.

I ate lunch with my grandson some weeks back and they had Salisbury Streak and Gravy- and it was on point.

I have 1/2 a box of fish sticks ageing out in the freezer.

Mrs. PJ made one heck of a gravy. She would use lean stew meat or round steak or pork chops or even cut up chicken breast and let it cook down for a few hours… holy moly that was great….

love just about anything smothered in gravy, with onions, garlic and mushrooms, of course
