Damn it felt good to sleep in. That as a long workweek for sure. Now on to weekend frivolity and assorted hyjenx and time wasting.

that was me - up at 7 when the wife started work, and trudged out in the ice/snow that is left to fill the feeders, put seeds and peanuts down for the rest.

as of 10 mins ago had about 35 various birds, 4 squirrels and a baby chipmunk.

Welfare birds won’t know how to survive in the wild now. Hope you’re happy you condemned them all to a tragic death, once you decide you can’t be bothered with supplying the free food train.

It's below freezing and the ground is still snow covered. These birds live in a city of 7.6 million people - this ain't the wild.

They also eat carrion.

It used to make me sad when I saw roadkill (usually squirrels) (also please come back Madam

), but then I saw the birds eating the remains.

I haven't been to a gun show in 12 years, I used to go every month. Lamar-Dixon and the Ponchatrain center
The Kenner show because it gave me a reason to go to Mckenzie's for turtles and chocolate glazed donuts.

agreed with all of this.

I enjoy looking at Birds and identifying them - if that means I feed them with seeds every couple days, happy to do so.
