Here's a reply I got from them after filing a hail claim on my roof with State Farm. This clown was probably at lunch with a SF exec, laughing together while sending me this shite.
quote:
The Louisiana Department of Insurance has received a response from State Farm Fire and Casualty Company (“State Farm”) regarding its handling of the matter you brought to our attention. A copy of the response is attached.
You indicated in your complaint that despite obvious hail damage to your roof, State Farm has denied coverage.
State Farm has provided correspondence directly related to this matter. State Farm states that the initial inspection of your property was conducted on April 16, 2022. The results of this inspection concluded that your 15-year-old roof was found to be in poor condition with heavy wear and tear. Evidence of past hail damage was observed but indications show it to be older than your claims date of loss (March 23, 2022.) As a result, your covered damages did not exceed your policies deductible.
